At Fox Fire Riverside Campground you can fish directly from the banks of the Big
Pigeon River. We have over 1/3 of a mile of shoreline......... Within 4 miles
we have Cosby Creek, Caney Creek and Big Creek. Some of the best trout and small
mouth bass fishing in the state is in this area..... If you prefer lake fishing,
within a 15 min. drive... there is Douglas Lake which has over 500 miles of shoreline
and is rated as one of the top 5 crappie fishing lakes in the nation. It is also
rated in the top 10 for large mouth bass. For Hiking, fishing, rafting and camping
enthusiast this area is truly a paradise. |
